You gals sure made me chuckle....glad I'm not the only one!

Ladonna Mobile - I remember when Tiffani-Amber Thiessen won, too! She was a "co-winner" with another girl (whose name, I am sorry to say, I can't remember....but I think her last name might have been Webber?). I think I even remember the article about the girl with bulimia---it was so shocking!

Sabrina - You are so welcome for the "Victoria"! I love you!

Poofer - I have some magazines from summer of '06 that I didn't get around to reading because we were moving to Florida. They're still there waiting for me, so you aren't alone!

Angie - "Real Simple" looks like a cool magazine. My in-laws got us "Family Fun" for Christmas. I was just thinking of subscribing to "Faith & Family," but I've got a few too many subscriptions right now....need to let a couple of them go before I take on any more.

Thanks for all your comments!

I have ALWAYS loved magazines. I can remember buying magazines when I was probably just 8 or 9 years old. There have been times in my life when I have had probably 10 or more subscriptions. Right now, I only have a subscription to Family Fun and Faith & Family. I also just got a birthday present of a year subscription to Real Simple. Oh...and we did have Marriage Partnership magazine, but just let the subscription run out. Hmmm...maybe I need to start subscribing to more magazines again!

I LOVE magazines too! Before life on the farm when I was extremely busy working and living the fun single life I rarely had time to read them ... there are still a few sitting in boxes that I have yet to read. I didn't read magazines as a teen though ... I don't know why for sure, but I didn't. I love my adult magazines though and even though I get to them sooner then I did in the past, my stack still gets a bit high.

Oh my gosh ME TOO! I can vividly remember Tiffany Amber Theissen as the winning model back when I subscribed to Teen . . . I can also remember, almost verbatim, an article when Teen published the diary of a girl who died from Bulimia--I was so fascinated that I read it over and over. I still have a pile of these old magazines in my cedar chest . . . I was too attached to completely let go!
