Looks like I’m neglecting the old blog again, doesn’t it?
A lot has been happening around here. First, we went on that trip to St. Pete Beach. We had a great time—I celebrated my birthday while there, we swam in the pool a lot, I went shopping with my mom and sister, the boys played with [...]

Making Up for Lost Time

Just a Snippet from My Day…
I sent the two littlest boys to the bathroom to wash their hands while I prepared lunch.
Two minutes later, Charlie came running out of there, shouting, “MAAAAMAAAA! Levi’s not washing his hands in a proper fashion!”
You see, they really do listen to us when we say something!

Do Babies Really Remember?
I remember some years ago—probably before I had kids—I read something somewhere saying that it’s speculated that small children up to around 3 years old can remember, at least a little bit, what it was like being in the womb.

Three!
Last night we celebrated our youngest son, Levi’s, birthday. He was so cute blowing out his candles and opening gifts.
I can’t believe he is three years old now. It seems like he was born yesterday…..and at the same time, it’s hard to remember a time when he was not a part of our family.

Charlie loves to dance. Probably we [...]

Considering Summer
it’s pouring rain this morning. Yesterday afternoon, I drove through a deluge to pick Brian up from the airport. He’d spent the past five days at a math conference in Arlington, Texas. I find that whenever he goes out of town, I get so used to fending for myself and the boys [...]

The Sweetest Thing
Yesterday, we decided Urban should stay home from school to have an extra day to recuperate from whatever bug the boys had suffered from over the weekend. Whatever it was, we knew it must be super contagious, so we figured that was another good reason to keep him away from the rest of his [...]
